California Promise offers pathway to four-year graduations at California State University

Sen. Glazer op-ed in the Sacramento Bee

With costs rising and students frustrated over their inability to get through college on time, we need to give California State University students more opportunities to graduate in four years. Under my legislation (Senate Bill 1450), students who take 30 units per year and maintain a minimum GPA would receive priority registration, a tuition freeze at their freshman-year level and tuition waivers for courses not available in the four-year span. Details in my op-ed in today’s Sacramento Bee.
