Today I viewed the nearly completed Miner Road Sinkhole/ Culvert Repair. This project's size and complexity required a lot of hard work and dedication from many people and agencies. Larry Theis, Orinda Public Works Director, noted this projects construction took about 70 days, and I thank the citizens of Orinda for their patience during this process. Many thanks to the Orinda City Council, Ben Rodriquez of Bay Cities Paving, Steve Solomon and Janet Keeter, and all agencies involved. Seeing the repair was a reminder of how important collaboration is, especially in times of emergency.
