Katy Murphy of the Bay Area News Group wrote this story on my bill, SB 1450, to improve four-year graduation rates at California State University. Only 19% of CSU students graduate in four years, 25 percent below the national average. My bill offers a tuition freeze, priority registration and advising to students who maintain 30 units per academic year and a minimum GPA.
