California Transition Assistance Program (CalTAP) is a program designed to inform and connect Veterans of all eras to their earned federal and state benefits as well as provide continued support and assistance as their needs change over time. Governor Newsom Unveils Conditions Needed to Meet to Relax Stay-At-Home Order

There are 6 key indicators that will be considered. The Governor noted that the progress in flattening the curve, increased preparedness of our health care delivery system and the effects of other COVID-19 interventions have yielded positive results. However, these actions have also impacted the economy, poverty and overall health care in California. Any consideration of modifying the stay-at-home order must be done using a gradual, science-based and data-driven framework. Please read here for more.

The site highlights critical steps people can take to stay healthy and offers resources for a myriad of subjects, including paid sick leave and unemployment assistance. Governor Newsom’s executive order: Stay at Home

The California State Public Health Officer and Director of the California Department of Public Health is ordering all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence, except as needed to maintain continuity of operation of the federal critical infrastructure sectors, critical government services, schools, childcare, and construction, including housing construction. Read the full Executive Order here (pdf).

Governor Newsom Announces California Health Corps, a Major Initiative to Expand Health Care Workforce to Fight COVID-19

Governor signs executive order to expand health care workforce and staff at least an additional 50,000 hospital beds needed for the COVID-19 surge.

Medical doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, behavioral health scientists, pharmacists, EMTs, medical and administrative assistants, certified nursing assistants all needed.
